Today I felt that it was my duty to go and see the first screening of Sin City to take place after work.

It was not a movie. It was a moving Comic Book. Pardon me, graphic novel. I'm sure that there are things that the purists would gripe about, as well as the non-artistic-types, and those who never read graphic novels or have ever seen anything by Frank Miller.
I went in expecting Frank Miller. I went in expecting a truncated version of several stories. I went in expecting more gorgeous art and photography than almost any action film will give, filmed like a comic book. The dialogue was also very well styled after the original format, at least I thought so.
Go see it. Unless you hate artsy films, and violence. You won't be let down.
