I found it a little strange that when I dyed my hair the other day, the lower half didn't change color at all. It barely changed when I bleached streaks into it. When pulled back, the ponytail looks the same as it did before.
I haven't dyed for a while and when I did it before, it was a deep burgundy color. So I'm no expert. But I bought the expensive crap and followed the instructions to the letter.
