Why do I have "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" stuck in my head?
When I try to change it out I get an NiN remix. Changing that back out just gives me "Somewhere..." again.
It's quite a lovely song really, but I haven't heard it in ages.
Today, I am rewatching my Cowboy Bebop DVD's. It's part of an attempt to kick-start a bit of a writer's block that I am having. There is a Science Fiction story that I am working on currently and I've never written much Sci-Fi before. Little things like technical issues elude me. I'm not exactly MIT material after all. Plus, there's the fact that I find myself designing every little detail of the surroundings that I am trying to portray rather than just getting to the story. It's a lot different than simply saying something like "He is hiding behind a bush" because wherever "he" is, the bushes could be totally different than what we're used to here. Like, it could be a giant Poinsetta or something. Maybe even something that doesn't even look plant-like for that matter.
But that's just an example, and not something I've actually run into yet. No hiding in the bush in this story. At least not yet!
And yes, I am aware. Giggle all you want to!
So anyway, I'm watching DVD's to get ideas or something. They are slowly coming to me but they aren't moving the story along at all. More like they are improving on the details that I've already given, or creating more.
Maybe I should go work on something else for a while. Lots of things are sitting around waiting to be written.
If you'd wanted something exciting, you should have clicked somewhere else right?

Maybe your story needs more rainbows. It could be a sign.
