so here it is.. one of my pet peeves.
I don't like it when people just take my food. I'm very picky about it. I get REALLY upset when people just grab and take what they want.
Now I'm the type of person who'll generally share when it comes to food (unless I'm terribly starving.) Honestly.. You just ask or mention "I'm hungry" around me, and if I have food, I'll share, or I'll even make you dinner (ask my friend Byll, I make him dinner about every night). Even if I'm not eating- I'll make food- even if all I can offer is a fried egg sandwich, it's just that I can't stand it when people go hungry.
Does that mean my food is free to eat whenever you want? No. By all means no. Simply ask, I'll share, but do NOT abuse my hospitality and assume you can eat whatever you want.
Why this rant? Because I came home today, assuming I'd eat the small amount of lasagna stuff I'd made last night (for myself and Byll) that I'd left in the fridge. Lo and behold, I found the bowl, covered in plastic wrap on my shelf in the fridge-- but something seemed to be, well, lacking. Yes. Someone had eaten my food, but decided that they would recover the bowl and put it back in the fridge. First of all, why eat it without asking? Second of all, why put it BACK in the fridge when the bowl is empty?!
I just don't understand...
It makes me sad.
