ok, so here's the schpeel on last night. Allegedly it was going to be AGE initiation, but then the girl's house that we were going to all go to (there were a good crowd of us... 20-30) ended up having the cops called on her BEFORE we even started to head over to her house.. MAJOR suck...
Then.. all of the AGEs thought, well, if we can't drink at our house, why don't we just drink at DT? Then proceeeded to get really pissed off when the old DTs who were thinking of going to sleep and doing hmwk or quietly chatting in their rooms, decided.."ummm.. no.. we don't want a party of 30 drunk people in our house starting at 1am.. maybe if you came over sooner? like 10 or so.. that would be different". Then the prez of AGE (a person that I would say is one of my good friends) started going talking to the older girls and discussing the "issue" as she called it, with them, saying that "we need to find a compromise to resolve this conflict between the two houses..." and that just pissed the old DTs off more because they were thinking "Umm.. our house- no conflict- we said no- go away and let us sleep." Then the AGEs got all pissy and started threatening that this semester's initiation wouldn't be able to be shared by the Greeks because DT wouldn't share their house at 1am and started storming off and saying we were being rude and un-supportive.
Sooooo.. in an attempts to remedy said situation, I ran around to all the little groups of people in the parking lot and said "Well, just cause we can't drink tonight doesn't mean we can't hang out... let's go to Denny's and all get ice cream or something..." So a group of 10 or so of us decided to go, but of course, no AGEs cared to come... sometimes I hate petty people...
OTHERWISE... Denny's was fun. Frank was there, as was Megan1123, and a couple other DTs and a OX, so it was a good time. Frank brought henna and we all got temp tattooed. The waiter was looking at us funny, but I think we were his most amusing table of the evening (or should I say early morning?). Either way.. I was saddened that Bitter Man wasn't there.. I wanted to take a picture of him.. i ended up taking a couple other pictures of us there, and of Frank doing henna, so I'll probably end up posting those later.... Anyway... off I go!
