WEEEEEE----- it's Friday!!
Happy joys, eh?
Well, I just have to go to work tonight for a few hours, but it should be fine because my insane boss (who's also rather inane..) isn't going to be there because she has some sort of appointment. I can't believe she actually had the gall to yell at me for calling in sick yesterday. The only reason that she does that is because if I'm not there, then all the work piles up, and it becomes more readily apparent that she does nothing at all. She's such a slacker- it really bothers me. When I was working at Mac's library, things were completely different. We had efficient systems, multiple workers, and a supervisor who knew what she was doing. Here... holy hell... I'm glad I wasn't trained here. I started up working a duplicate system and different things like a binding list and an unsolicited list, and my supervisor went to the head directors and told THEM that SHE was the one organizing these things... so they think that I just do the check in slowly, because I obviously don't do anything else. I do everything in Millenium that I have the admin to do, and she tries to shovel more on top of what I already do! The other tech services librarians know what is happening, but no one will do anything...
Oh well.. I suppose I just have to be happy that it's Friday and I probably won't see her at work, and that she'll be out two days next week due to "dental surgery". Funny. She can take off work whenever she wants, but may I? Nope. I have to work... go slave go!
Either way... tonight is AGE's initiation!! Wooo! par-tay! And AGE initiation means oodles and oodles of liquor. I can't wait... sometimes, it's just so damn good... at least it means I have something to do tonight...
