ok.. so my friend from WI didn't come. He ended up having to do shyte in the morning and couldn't rearrange it. But, on the upside, I ended up having a few odd days off in a row at Gap (very weird, but expected, as I talked to the schedualing manager about how I was an eensy bit burnt out because I'd worked for a month and a half or so straight... no days off), so I managed to drive my sorry ass to WI for a while. Hung out with the parentals and the sister (and her in-laws, good people) for a night, then spent Mon with my mummy and went out with my aforementioned friend from WI, since I just happened to be in town. Fancy that one.
All in all? A good time.
But, I did just get done with a 4 and a half hour drive, and well, it's 2:30am and I work at 11am, so I think I'm going to sleep. G'night folks.

So I just got off of work and have found myself very amused.
District managers and regional managers came into the store today. One of the district managers has decided she's rather quite fond of me and my fancy ways at work and she's requesting time to work with me on projects of hers.
Because of this, I feel spiffy. I'm moving up in the world.
All in all? A good time.
