I was born and raised in Amarillo, but I went off to college in Sherman, Texas (that's about an hour north of Dallas). I really didn't want to stay in Amarillo for the summer so I took off to Albuquerque on a job offer. It's alright here, I don't hate it but it definitely is taking some adjusting to, especially since I know maybe three other people in town, and they all work when I get OFF work. It's a bummer. We should definitely meet up sometime whenever you get back from Seattle (I'm aiming for the northwest next summer). HAVE FUN!

Seattle is my absolute favorite city in the US. You should check out the Experience Music Project. Pike Place Market is really nice, although a bit crowded with tourists. There is a kickass statue of Jimi Hendrix on Capitol Hill, and, if you're into Nirvana at all, there is a nice little park right by Kurt's old house. Other than that, Seattle is just a great city to walk around in. The people are cool, and the weather is nice, as long as you don't mind some sprinkles now and then.
