Found it really difficult to categorise this post from the dropdown menu choices!

I just wanted to share some cool places from where I live (Manchester UK) with anyone who doesnt know about them -

Afflecks is THE coolest alternative place in Manchester - a whole shopping centre on a few floors dedicated to all things alt. It's the sort of place that makes Manchester so cool; even the pavements leading up to the door are adorned with poetry (literally- see pics).

So, yeah it rains (almost all the time) but we have a very cool and quirky nightlife in the Northern Quarter where you can hide out from the rain!

I've attached some pics so you can see a bit about what makes Manchester city centre cool

(I have included the one of me and the yellow umbrella as I need it to keep dry! lol)
