hee hee. Well, cello is a bit more dignified than the instrument I played in school... the baritone sax. Yep, pretty damn ladylike. I played alto for 5 years before switching to baritone. I think I just liked shiny things at that age and the bigger the better. That damn thing had to be almost as tall as I was.
now...the waiting. i hate that period of time after an audition or dropping off an application for a cool job where you just wait for the phone to ring, all the while retracing your steps in your head about all the ways you could have done better...

i sang rock n' roll karaoke last night...i love being on stage. i sang "these boots are made for walking" and a gay man threw his boots on stage...i don't know why guys flip out when gay men hit on them, to me it's the best compliment ever. afterwords i drank...a lot. i didn't say it would be an interesting story.
