yay! i knew he would and he did. Eels rocked, despite tour bus problems causing delays and Aladdin Theater locking us outside in the fucking rain to die of pneumonia without so much as sending an usher to let us know what kind of a wait to expect and the motherfucking forty-year-old white people that cut in line and then talked about the ethics of the Bush administration because we're all against dishonesty, right? Not that i'm a Bush fan, but if you want to talk about using acquaintances for personal gain, maybe you oughtn't be cutting in line with the so-called-friend who's been waiting in line like us for 45 minutes already....

...but the good news is that as soon as E took to the stage i was in a whole new happy place

...and starting tomorrow i'll be in a different happy place: Eugene and K's family's house.
