Isnt it weird how life bounces you around so much from one extreme to another??? "peaks and troughs, peaks and troughs" as my friend Hen would always assure me

All this week, just getting up in the morning has been SUCH a task. I know that sounds pathetic and I feel really ungrateful as I'm in this fantastic city and I've got so much opportunity, but I get like this sometimes and I miss my friends/the UK right now so I think thats adding to it. So I've been feeling like abit of a basket case

But then this morning, my acting technique class(which I was a little stressy about as I had to do my version of the 1st of a series of "exercises" we're learning in front of everyone) went swimmingly and just that one small victory restored my confidence in myself that I CAN do this and I'm not just kidding myself.

Then this evening I just got my new tattoo! Hurraaaah! Its the one I said I drew myself, a small reminder of my dad, I've wanted something done for him for a while and I've been thinking about him a hell of a lot recently so I thought now's as good a time as any to get it done. Also, for this week's "homework" for my Speaking Voice class, we had to do something we've always wanted/have been wanting to do but havent done yet! So I thought it was a perfectly good excuse *ahem* I mean reason
