sleep...

such a funny concept if you think about it. putting yourself in a totally defenseless position for long periods of time just to reset your brain. every creature sleeps, predator or prey, and it is within this balance of waking and sleeping that life somehow happens. but does it really? how many times have you slept only to find your brain more active while dreaming than when going throughout your day? it is said that if you have a problem facing you, just think on it deeply before going to sleep and your dreaming mind will present a solution. could this be why people suffering from depression are tired all the time? are their awake minds attempting to become sleeping minds in order to solve the issue causing depression? we just need to be awake enough to implement the solutions. such a contradiction, it seems.

just try not to drool when your figuring out your next problems; it makes the pillow all wet and icky. whatever

hmmm.....sounds like you think too much when you sleep. <g> I do too, and end up having starnge and unusal dreams or waking up in a panic at the crack of dawn. (or as I like to say, at the crack of ass. that's what I feel like when I wke up at 4AM anyway, but here's a twist, since I work midnight shift, and sleep regualar normal person hours on my day off, does it qualify as waking up at the crack of dawn when i do if I'm usually awake at that time? ya, I so just got off of work...didn't make sense to me either.) Sleep better. tongue

Haven't heard about the new place. they said they'd call in a day or two and it's been several so I'm going to give them a shout this afternoon and inquire. Hopefully. I shall be totally screwed if there is nothing.
