after some much needed rest and taking a few days to sort myself out again, it's time for an update.

I"M BACK FROM MEXICO!!!!
That trip was one of the best I've ever taken! I went to the historical San Miguel de Allende, located in central Mexico. The city was so beautiful. It was an example of the integration of the past with modern technology. One shop might have very quaint offerings: blankets, small woven items; while the next shop is an internet cafe with a full service espresso bar. I saw a farmer walking a burro through the streets and not two seconds later a new Honda drives up the same way. I had a bit of culture shock to say the least.

This is a great overlook of the town. I walked from down near the big church up to this place.


Every door in the town (at least everyone I saw) looked almost just like this. Very old and solid wood. Too cool.


The main attraction of this place. Designed by a self-taught enigneer and solely from images of gothic cathedrals of Europe, it has stook for over a hundred years.
