man I am so far behind on updating... the complexities of sharing a computer have gotten to me.
yes, the past two weeks have been a breaking-in period for me as I shed the status of living alone in order to help out a friend. My new "roomie" moved in and things have not been the same since. Not that this is a bad thing, I just have to get use to sharing the house with another person. No more nude strolls throught the house after showering, no more leaving dishes piled in the sink, no more drinking milk from the carton... Wow!, this might change me for the better after all! (though I'll still walk the house in the buff after she's gone)
In keeping with my lesson learned, I have made ticket purchases to travel to Mexico. I really wasn't sure about this trip, but missed opportunities lead to regrets, so fuck all regrets, I'm going!!! A friend of mine is going down for some "total immersion" Spanish classes and I am flying in the last week to enjoy the delights the city of San Miguel has to offer. I'm told this is quite the artist community, with international and American artists living there year-round. My Spanish is muy mal pero I'm hoping to refresh my knowledge beyond the following:
Quisiero un cervesa, por favor - I would like a beer, please
Donde esta el bano? - where is the bathroom?
Acceptas un tarjeta de credito? - Do you accept cresit cards?
Mis lapis es grande y amarillo. - My pencil is big and yellow.
I am for sure bringing my camera and wearing out all 256 megs of storage space. And maybe while I'm down there I can actually get a tan! I swear planes could see me from 12000ft if I took off my shirt. Having a pool is the one thing I miss the most. I use to swim every afternoon when I got off work. Kept me in pretty good shape, but now I am sorely missing the gentle cool envelopment of the blue waters. I know there are a few places in town offering memberships. I need to check these out before it gets too late.
have a good weekend all!!!

That sounds like so much fun ....have some fun in the sun for me.
And brave brave soldier having a roomate, no worries, whether they are good or bad I know the feeling. It's so hard to adjust living with someone after you've lived on your own. Those carefree days of trotting through the house nude or drinking straight from the bottle of diet pepsi are over and it's very very sad. <g> I'm still waiting on whther i'll be house sitting for sure or not. If so, hopefuly I'll be there within the next two weeks. woot woot!
