It's only Thursday but already I've put in 43 hours. And the funny thing is, this has been an easy week! Gotta love salary positions...
As I was leaving from the office, I got into my post-work routene: music playing, windows down, singing to the songs pumping forth. A red light caught me, and traffic began to surround my vehicle. I looked around, eyes encased in shades, surveying the cars idle and adjacent. Faintly over the music I hear, "Sir, excuse me..." I pause mid-verse and and scan left and right looking for the source of the interjection. A family is in a car next to me, and the wife has her window down asking me a question. She proceeds, "Can you tell me where Chi's is?"
The light turns green, drivers come to life and the pull of the mobile river urges me forward, but I resist and fulfill their request, "Just go down there, take a right at the light and you'll see it."
From this I noticed two things: one - no horns were blown, no words were shouted as I assisted them. Horray for civility. two - I must have a really good disposition, even when singing at a red light, for strangers to ask for my help. Kinda put a smile on my face.
and the world works in strange ways...

How very helpful of you. Singing with the windows rolled down is the best......especially if yer singin car tunes. Happy day.
