The day has come and gone (mostly) with no bad luck. Of course midnight is still a good handful of hours away, so I'd better be on the lookout and not do anything out of the ordinary... like hold a black cat while walking on broken mirror fragments while passing under a ladder.

the flesh is getting very curious for the taste of ink. i picked out something simple enough for my first go-round, but the size and placement may cause some discomfort. pain I am not afriad of; it's the restrictive movements that accompany during the healing process that worry me. I'm planning on a space roughly 3/4 the size of a CD to be placed in the middle of my shoulder blades. and seeing how my work involves me climbing and lifting things, I don't want to risk damaging the healing skin. guess I'll have to take as easy as I can for a few days. as for aftercare on my back, I'll have to find a way to put some lotion on the newly color-infused skin. I need a soft caressing hand to help me reach those difficult spots, and maybe a few spots I can reach...
