I've returned from a weekend of near misses and good visits.
1) family issues are all gone. The one thing that was the center of it all has turned out fine. Or at least mostly fine for now. this is the near miss.
2) got to see some family members I've not seen in about a year. We got some good catching up taken care.
Things are back to normal. Defcon status has returned to minimal.

I love reconnecting with family and friends you haven't seen in a long time. It's like finding money. People who hold bits and pieces of your past are priceless. I sure would like to know some remyx secrets.
You've been to New Orleans quite a bit, right? I hear there are lots of hauntings that happen there. Or what would be the equivalent to tourist-hauntings.
