I live in what could be considered a 'flat' that contains four apartments. Right now three of them are occupied. I always come up the back stairs, but the family across the hall from me uses the front door, which opens to the main hall and stairwell. I swear, every other day the damn door is wide open, letting in cold air which then flows under and around the front door to my apartment. They don't even attempt to close it. Three times in the past two weeks, I have had to go down the stairs to shut it. I guess what I need to do is either have a little tenant meeting with them or tape up a big sign reading "SHUT THE DOOR, FUCKERS!"

That ought to get their attention ...

In other news I will be heading out of town this weekend to test my skill with the blade. Nice two-day tournament should bring in some good competition. You know, some say fencing is better than sex. Even the S&M crowd can get into the sport; a little inside joke: beat me, bind me, just don't touch me!
