true to my word, i made my way down to the river market. arriving, i noticed a shit-load of cars parked in the street. this meant some event was going on. luckly i found a spot and proceeded toward the river. then i hear it, loud electric guitar and singing. i didn't know there was a concert playing in the amphitheater, but apparently everyone else did. i never could get a straight answer as to who was playing, only that it was some 80's metal group. i thought it sounded like motley crue. i'm going to try to find out today.
so i headed to the Flying Saucer, needing my thirst quenched. the scene wasn't too bad. i ordered my chocolate stout and sipped the dark goodness a little faster than usual. that one was for me. then i ordered another; this one i toasted to all my SG friends. aww, you should all feel special
this morning is cool and crisp, so i'm having some morning java on the patio.
