Getting over the stolen TV. It's just an object. I wasn't hurt. I guess that's important. Everything else is still here, so I'm not too bummed. But damn it's going to suck to continue paying for that bastard when someone else has it now. mad

I went to play gaelic football today for the first time. They started a league here about 6 months ago, but I only just learned about it. I ran my ass off!!! By the end I was walking up and down the field, unable to even jog. My legs are going to hurt tremendously tomorrow, but hopefully I'll quickly get myself toned up. Also, my lungs need a workout. I was breathing so hard after just the first 15 minutes. That killed me faster than my legs giving out. If you want to see just what gaelic football is, you can go here.

I am VERY against the idea of a North American Union. Not that having open trade would be bad thing, but the ideas they are planning on implementing will only harm existing standards. Also, it's basically making us Canadians bend over willingly to get fucked in the ass. Having no borders would declare everything on the continent as the "US's". This would mean all of our lumber and fresh water and oil would be ravaged by the greed of the American economy. Essentially, it is already, but at least with the current system, we are getting some sort of payment for our goods. As well, it would mean that the US military could come here and do whatever they want, whenever they want, and we don't have a say. The basics behind the SPP is to allow the eventual takeover of this continent. I probably wouldn't be so against it if the US citizens had the rights and respect of their government. But you don't. Homeland Security and those types of task forces have robbed American citizens of the right to be human. It doesn't fly with me and I'm hoping it doesn't fly with the rest of the continent. I hope this gets shot down ASAP or we might all be in for some rough times ahead.
I know that a Canadian resistance would definitely come into fruition and can you imagine what kind of war that would be?

I'm rather terrified to be living so close to such a destructive government.

And no, I'm not in Montreal. I live in Alberta, which is west and rather redneck. I only wish I live in Quebec. I'm not bilingual, though, so I'd have to learn the ol' Francais, which never went over very well in school.
