I'm counting down the days until my vacation! I have a month to go before I leave the frustrating confines of my job and fly into the sunny, welcoming arms of Florida! I am very excited, even though I will only get to spend 4 days there. My older sister lives just north of Tampa, and every year ther is a renaissance faire that sets up for approximately two months. So my younger sister and I are going to hang out. in order to make it enjoyable for all (my three nephews are coming as well) we're going in costume. I've got my garb from doing re-enactment stuff, but the others have to make something. And to get my nephews into it, I'm going to make them each something special.

The oldest, who is 16, is acting like a typical 16-year old... disagreeing with everything. However, I know he really enjoys anime. To bribe him into dressing up, I'm going to make him a Japanese outfit. It'll just be basic black-and-white, but he could use it as a Bleach cosplay outfit if he gets the chance. The younger two I'm making a set of bracers and pouches. My leather skills are basic, but I think they'll enjoy them.

As the projects unfolds, I'll post pics.

In other news, I decided against flinging poop and used words instead. My response from her: "I'm just really cold on dating right now, which would explain my 3 year hiatus. Please come hang out again, though."
