Fuck this goody-good-moral-imposing city and it's TV stations!
Why? Why you ask? Because I can't sit and watch a program that's broadcast throughout this nation on one of the 'big 3' networks! To further shed light on the subject, I wanted to watch the Victoria's Secret show airing on CBS tonight. This is basic network programming; It's not cable, those airwaves halfway ungoverened by the FCC. And yet I am still at the mercy of what someone else thinks I should watch, forced to miss shows I want to watch and should be able to watch as governed ok by the FCC. This is all due to the local station managers. Yes, the local people can say what they want their station to carry. Fuck that! Remember a small show that stirred a lot of people up called 'the gospel of Daniel'? It aired on NBC. At least it did most every place but six cities what deemed it unfit to be broadcast and put infomercials in their place. This shitty city was one of the first to start that protest. So every year when the Victoria's Secret show is suppose to air, like it does on every other CBS station in this country, ours goes to an infomercial. What the fuck?!? What the fuckety fuck fuck?!? And I think that the ABC station is stopping the broadcast of the show "Cavemen". The charlie brown christmas special has run three weeks in a row now (the writer's strike could be at fault, but I have my doubts).
But fortunate for me they haven't infiltrated my computer yet. I think I'd totally lose it if I logged onto SG and found some infomercial playing.
