I'm getting time to update about the convention, finally! The event was more successful than the organizers planned for; they tought maybe 200 people would show. It turns out over 600 people came! This turned waiting to register into a nightmare. I stood in line for 2 hours! But it was fine. Got to meet some new people and everyone was just so excited about a convention coming that soon the dispare wore away. I did miss a few sessions they held earlier in the morning, but overall I felt that it did not cut into my enjoyment of the day. There were a load od cosplayers, and being a bit older than the majority of them, I felt initially out of place. But I quickly realized it didn't matter because everyone was just so happy that other cosplayers showed. There were soo many Naruto. And a few Bleach. I was the only one there in s-CRY-ed character. I chose Tachibana. And the process was not extremely easy to complete, but I'm happy with the results.

I'm really looking forward to coming up with something else to do.


But now I'm off to see the family and eat myself into a tryptophan-induced coma for a few days. yum!
