I saw a hawk snatch a sparrow out of mid air and fly off with it. Very surreal at first, trying to understand the mechanics of what just transpired. One second it's a little brown aerodynamic form; the next it's in the talons of a graceful red-tailed flash. Circle of life, I guess... (looks skyward for looming Rocs)

This weekend I spend eating crawfish, something I've never really done. I've had shrimp right off the boil, and although I'm not really fond of them, they were ok. But crawfish (or crawdads as I call them) are way better! I got to hear some good cajun music as well (LeRoux, for one).

I have got to change my profile pic meh time to boot up the camera and make something happen.
