man i have got to update my profile pic. i'll put that on the list of things to do.
four months after the year begins i finally start on my resolution: begin regular workouts again. there's no time like the present. i plan to have abs o' plenty in about 4 weeks. Pilates... yeah.
in two weeks i begin the last of this year's fencing season. first i go to Lafayette, LA for a small tournament, then to Jackson, MS, and finally to Shreveport, LA. my decision to continue after 11 years has been a good one. though i know I'll never go anywhere big (national rank and such), it still gives me great satisfaction and joy. on some days, the intensity on the strip is almost unmatched. a good match is better than sex. really.

Time away is always a godsend, it either makes u appreciate what u have or gives u the push to change things
Go get that workout, boy...that's awesome, and there's such clarity about being at the gym and pushing your body...(wait for the visual...there it is)
