The car looks like its designed was based on some random RC car from Tyco. Is it in production or merely a concept model??
The first bike reminds me a little of the one from Akira, at least in the psyched-out appearance. Crazy.

Sleep, you tempting mistress, why do you torment me with fleeting promises of embrase, only to find myself again in the throws of insomnia?
I haven't had a decent night's sleep all week. For starters, we have been on an earlier work routene this week than normal. I am not usually a morning person, so this has interrupted things. Then I get home at night...

I was gonna say! that wouldn't put ya to sleep, or maybe it would, but after you...er, you know, 'cuddled'.
So go find someone to cuddle with, it'll help you sleep.
If ya can't right away, just think about it, and uh.....
you know where I'm going with that.
Happy weekend and I sure hope you can get some sleep, no matter the method of inducement. You COULD watch some really boring TV, or read a god awful dry text book on underwater basket weaving? Nah, never mind, go find a girl. <g>

I bought donuts for the office today. They seem to think I am the greatest person in the world now. Amazing... some pastry and a little sugar goes a long way. Maybe this is the key to getting people and nations to cooperate. I bet none of the Mid-East peace talks started with donuts. Nooo, they probably all came in and had some dry toast...

Donuts are gross.
I think maybe it's the fact that one of my mom's friends used to work in at Daylight Donuts and she brought us a bunch of donuts all the time, and they're weren't exactly fresh. Eatable, yes, but not fresh. They got to me after a while.
Although a regular glazed donut will do. As long as it's fresh.
Coffee is gross too. Unless it's super-sweet and got cocoa in it and then, you know, it's not coffee anymore!

Weekend update:
Ok, had a little trip to Dallas this weekend. I found out two things: 1) $200 doesn't go as far as it use to, and 2) I am horribly out of shape.
This is a trip I needed to make but hated to because of the current gas prices. The purpose was to fence in a benifit tournament, with all the proceeds going...

Have you ever felt that your life has come to an impass, a time of just existing, where the subtle hum of everyday life seem to lull you into a false sense of comfort? Where the past electric memories of passions are the sensations long-dead nerves yearn to feel again? That knee-jerk reactions to current stimuli use to be wild primal intense urges, fueled by...

have you seen the predicted damage from this hurricane? poor New Orleans is suppose to be practically leveled. I feel really bad for all those people down there. Hopefully they'll have something to return home to.
What's the worst storm you've been through?
mine was when I was about 7. We had three tornados hit in and around our town on the same evening. The...

The New Orleans and surrounding areas devastated by the hurricane are....I can't even begin to think of the words when I read the news and see the pictures. What those poor people must be feeling, I can't even imagine.
The worst storm was probably a blizzard that hit right after I was born, so obviously I don't remember, but it was really bad and a lot of people in my hometown died. The snow was overup to the roof of our house (two stories), and a neighbouring farmer had to deliver essentials like bread and milk to houses with a horse and sleigh. The snow went all of the way up hydro poles, and just the lines stuck out the top. I got pneumonia three days after coming home after I was born, and my parents were terrified when they couldn't gte me out to the hospital, and I almost didn't make it. I travelled via horse and sleigh for quite a ways wrapped in about six comforters. (this was before snow mobiles were quite common, almost 30 years ago) It caused a lot of damage and people were stranded for weeks.

A lunar eye stares it's reflective glance at me this evening and I feel the pull of restlessness. That urge to be outside, experience excitement, and quiet the anxious energy crawling 'neath my skin. I've always felt more alive at night than during the day; guess it's that whole bio-rhythm concept. Some may dismiss the 'lunatic' effect a full moon has, but if it can...

I LOVE this journal entry...I have often ran in conjunction with the moon cycles, and I work with a group of crazies who peak when the full moon hits, so that's all the proof I need. I never thought about the fact that it influences the tides and we're made mostly of water, that's interesting to me...you always make me think in the best ways....
So, I have been a super-shitty SG friend lately, even to my favorites, and I'm wondering just how you are Sir Remyx...drop me a line or an email and fill me in on your life. I miss you, silly.
OH, and if the Tammy and Paul show goes national, I'll be sure to let you know...maybe they need a commentator.

such a funny concept if you think about it. putting yourself in a totally defenseless position for long periods of time just to reset your brain. every creature sleeps, predator or prey, and it is within this balance of waking and sleeping that life somehow happens. but does it really? how many times have you slept only to find your brain more active while...

hmmm.....sounds like you think too much when you sleep. <g> I do too, and end up having starnge and unusal dreams or waking up in a panic at the crack of dawn. (or as I like to say, at the crack of ass. that's what I feel like when I wke up at 4AM anyway, but here's a twist, since I work midnight shift, and sleep regualar normal person hours on my day off, does it qualify as waking up at the crack of dawn when i do if I'm usually awake at that time? ya, I so just got off of work...didn't make sense to me either.) Sleep better.
Haven't heard about the new place. they said they'd call in a day or two and it's been several so I'm going to give them a shout this afternoon and inquire. Hopefully. I shall be totally screwed if there is nothing.
