Get this, he said "Much as I regret doin' it there's only one way to disarm a samurai: permanently." *image of crouching samurai with a standing victorious Wolverine, sword thrust through chest, hand hung on sword*
-Was ripped in two by The Hulk and survived
In the past:
-Had his skeleton ripped out by Magneto
-Fought... everyone....
-been turned into an alien (in the tv show) and switched back (due to his beastness mind you)

-Was born in... however many years ago, and kicks ass as a 100+ year old man
Also the Hulk isnt really like a tactical genius so dispte the fact that he can smash every molecule of his body into a seperate molecule for each other, he just thinks to get the job done and leave. Plus Wolverine's skeleton is unbreakable, unbedable, simply put, impervious to anything and everything, including The Hulk.
