Still waiting for people to call me back and give me a job. I totally need $$$ like yesterday. Still overdrawn at the bank and I've got 20 bucks in my pocket. That's probably gonna go to gas.
I've still been playing (and replaying and replaying) Max Payne bunches lately. I never get tired of the gritty broodiness of the hero, or the way cool John Woo style gun battles. Fell back in love with Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines for the PC again too. I'm playing through as a Ventrue, and I'm siding with the Camarilla so far. Those of you who have any idea what that means get extra cool points in ol' Remy's book.
Getting along with the stepmother for now. I don't trust her anymore than I ever have, but as long as this detente holds, I'll be happy with that much stress gone from my life.
And the best news of all? I'm not homeless yet!!!. Sometimes it pays to know when and how to kowtow like there's no tomorrow.
