we get to play with the brains more today, which should be pretty damn interesting. after seeing the thing in surgery so many times, its really kind of satisfying to be able to actually hold it and manipulate it. as is obvious, brain surgery is particularly delicate, and that makes it really hard to see what is going on and relate it to the bigger picture of the coconut. its strange that made me almost fetishize the whole brain in the cadaver. there really is something to holding the thing and then looking in the empty skull that is extremely satisfying. i mean, i dont really get to play with the whole thing that often, so im pretty damn psyched that i get to do it now.
