walked to the grocery store today, and they wouldnt take my starter checks. came home frustrated, and found my real checks had come in the post. ah well, such is life.
think im going to see the directors cut of donnie darko with a few kids from my class. should be a good time.

FINALLY got rid of that damn pole. but then again, now its rather lonely around here. the first day of orientation was certainly both interesting and boring, but at least i got to meet some of the kids that im going to be studying with. we will see where this all goes. time to get some money and food and whatnot.

no need to be lonely, big exciting things are beginning, and there are lots of great future doctors to hang out with, i'm sure. plus, there's an awesome diner right down the street that's open 24/7.

so i just saw 'big fish.' interesting film, and well-written. im not sure what to think at this point, but im certainly thinking a lot. being at home is still weird, so i suppose thats contributing to my thoughts.

just saw my schedule for the first semester. basically, it will consist of non-stop fun. i am starting to feel better about where i am going. i mean, what other school has free (yet safe) sex structured weekly into the curriculum?
