Sorry for the serious lapse in bloggage. I have been living in the studio, and have not had much contact with the outside world Anyway, here's the deal: This post is going to be short, but I wanted to discuss the idea I had mentioned in my last blog. We have several songs done for this upcoming album, and my producers from the label discussed also releasing an acoustic album before this one is finished to kind of add to the hype. A very talented guitarist, Ryan Illsley, from a recently signed band called Boomerang Nebula (a band I am also now producing...funny how that works), will be joining me in writing the instrumental part of some of the acoustic songs, as will my bandmates. Anyhow, I thought it would be fun to get some input from all the lovely folks here in SGland. You are all wonderful, twisted folks, and I would honoured to have you all make this a more colourful project. SO, what I would like for you all to do is send me a message with your ideas for inspirations for songs. Anything that bothers you, anything you love, anything that means anything to you. You get it, anything. I can't promise it will make either record, as I only have limited say in how the label decides to cut the finals, but if it does, I will credit you, and you'll have a cool story to tell.. What I can promise is that I will write something for EVERY person that sends me something, provided it doesn't get too out of hand. Also, I will post a video or something of the recorded final project and give you credit. Sound good? Alright. Let's do this, friends.
