Bummed.

My father is in poor health, and my parents' dog is just too big, happy and rambunctious to stay with him safely. So off to Massachusetts she goes to live with my brother and his family. So SHE'LL be happy, and at least the "good place" she's going to isn't "doggie heaven" for once.

But none of US are happy about it. We all...

Well, I'm guessing a lot of you were in Ohio this weekend... sorry I'm nowhere near there... another time, perhaps! But please feel free to check my last few blogs and let me know what you think, as I REALLY would like to hear from you.

Okay--I've got some nice souvenirs to share with you...

You may recall that I celebrated the opening weekend of...

My fondest wishes for a HAPPY HALLOWEEN to you all!

See previous blog... one more chance to catch NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD: REANIMATED on REMO D.'S MANOR OF MAYHEM! Three final performances of REPO! THE GENETIC OPERA at the Paper Wing Theatre! And only two days remaining for the Haunted Barn! Then it's crash time for me...

I do, indeed, have more fabulous sets...

On Halloween, I watched House of 1000 corpses, once again. And I watched Ringu for the first time. I liked it! Its definitely better than the american version!

Sorry, folks--no pictures today... just a couple of things I'd like to share.

On the lighter side--it's a brand-new MANOR for you this weekend!

Well, summoning The Big Guy didn't quite work out the way we planned--things are still chaotic at both the MANOR and at the Paper Wing Theatre... but our resident witch RIP has returned to make everything okay... right? She's even going...

Well, have I got some catching up to do this time... major bloggage coming up!

This past Thursday night I was able to take my lovely (and very understanding) wife Lisa out for our fifteenth anniversary dinner... even though our REAL anniversary is today! What can I say--it's a work day for her and a REPO! night for me, so we took the night that...

I'm guessing The District 13 Films are yours RemoD66? And that they are scary stuff? eeek
If so, no. I have to be honest. Always. I don't dare allow scary films around me I'm a big fat baby!
Your blogs are always so full of love.
I had to go back and get caught up on the last 4 and I spy'd me in there again blush

How is everything this weekend?
Happy anniversary as well. biggrin

I want to THANK YOU for your kindness and support after that last blog--I've always said that my friends here are REAL, and you just proved it again.

Typical overload day at work, but then I got to have some fun... now that REPO! rehearsals have broken (though the SHOW is still running through Halloween), we jumped right back into the MANOR and started working...

This has been a bittersweet day for so many of us... if you wish to sidestep the sadness, please avoid the spoiler below.

SPOILERS! (Click to view)

Stacie actually lived two doors down from me during my childhood in Valparaiso, Indiana... she was younger than me, but we had the same birthday, as it turned out. She had a younger brother, while I had a...

Click is that it? hahaha. Thanks for the joke!

To your blog:: I'm terribly sorry about your loss. I'm in nursing school and have already watched a few people code. It's even sadder to me when they are DNR patients and there is NOTHING you can do. But having a friend pass away or someone close is COMPLETELY different. It's sad to watch people go, even people you know, but it's even worse when it's someone you were close to. So with that, I'm very sorry to hear this news.

And YOU ARE FUCKING AWESOME for being a REAL parent and supporting your daughter. I had several friends participate in national coming out day. I'm bi. but didn't post it on my status. And the saddest reason, is more so because of my mother. When I was 14 I had a girlfriend and someone told my mom. She freaked. I mean flipped. And forbade me to see her. The girl and I stayed together for a little while, but we just became friends because it became too much of a hassle. Sometimes I really do wish my parents could accept me for who I am. And that isn't just referring to the bisexual thing. So seriously, you're awesome.

And great choice of pictures to show off for the new sets.

I don't really know what to say, man. You might not see this comment because there's been a new blog posted since. But I'll say something anyway. It's tragic that most people I encounter ... while they do care about others at some level ... they let go at some point and forget that we're all human, that we all matter. Stories on the news about a cop that was killed, and I wonder how many amazing people we'll never hear about, simply because they didn't have a particular occupation. Well, now I know of one more. I've never met Stacie, and yet here I am, feeling kinda bummed about the situation. And that's okay; she deserves to be missed.

Thank you for everything you do for this site, and for actually being a caring human being. It's a sad world, perhaps, when something such as this would have to be recognized, but there ya go. What you've said in your blog about your family, and your support ... we could use more people like this.

Okay, so all that sentimental shit aside ... nice new sets! Hehe biggrin
Especialy with this post; there were several that look like they're gonna be great.

Into the thick of our third REPO! weekend! Regrettably, the friend I was looking forward to seeing at tonight's performance isn't going to be able to make it after all, but my daughter will be back... and last night I was surprised by my parents (they loved it, and I'm now officially over the hurdle of performing "Mark It Up" in front of them biggrin )...

Well, for those of you still following this blog (comments are dwindling--what goes on???), I promised you a movie you've NEVER SEEN on this weekend's all-new MANOR!

The hardcore Italian gore film fans among you (and I know you're out there) could very well have seen the remake... the Joe D'Amato film known variously as BURIED ALIVE, BEYOND THE DARKNESS and BLUE HOLOCAUST... an infamous...
