Well, I FINALLY decided on the final lineup for the historic twentieth season of the MANOR. Against all odds, we've completed six out of thirteen episodes (not including the Halloween and Christmas specials) and once again we have a fine cross-section of horror and fantasy from all over the world.
My good friend A. Ghastlee Ghoul just got himself inducted into the Horror Host Hall of Fame. And as he was one of the very first to greet me when I started this whole crazy thing, he is ultimately deserving. And yet I continue to hope that one day... one day...
...could you please indulge me and let me know if any of you reading this actually started viewing MANOR episodes because I started promoting them here? Without the MANOR, there would be no RemoD66 on SG, and that's the truth. Twenty seasons. Well over 250 feature film presentations. Hell, we're pushing 285 once we get through this season. Two more and we hit the magic 300. Then maybe I'm going to retire. Or maybe not. A little recognition from the community at large would NOT hurt.
Ever wonder why I identify with the Hopefuls here? That's the biggest and best part of the reason. I have been on the air as a TV horror host since 2002. I came to SG to see if I could join forces with the models and bring additional beauty to the show even as I supported them in their quests. I joined in 2009. "Hopeful since 2009" doesn't sit well with me any more than "Remo D." receiving the recognition of the horror-fan community in the form of something tangible. And yet we plug away.
