Well, folks, it didn't happen... nobody gets to see Episode Three of the fourteenth season of the MANOR (well, at least not until rerun season when it might get another chance). This was the "one week till REPO!" episode, so we can't just hold off and show it next week--for obvious reasons.
So here's what was SUPPOSED to happen...
Disappearances have started to take place at both the Paper Wing Theatre and the MANOR, where we've apparently lost both C.C. the Vaultmistress and Kato the Black Hornet! That left just me and Dr. Montag to stave off the invasion of the Paper Wingers (who still think that they're going to perform REPO! THE GENETIC OPERA on OUR set). Last week, we played two of them ("Bill the Lizard" and "Mad Hattie") off of each other successfully, so this week we went for the gusto. As we were showing ATLAS IN THE LAND OF THE CYCLOPS, we decided that we needed an "Atlas" and a "Cyclops" of our own for demonstration purposes.
We obtained a "Cyclops" by convincing the Paper Winger known as "Dutch" that there was something wrong with his glasses--when he put them back on, he suffered a painful eye injury and stumbled off the set half-blinded... we THEN convinced the Paper Winger known as "Jordan" to practice "holding up the world" as Atlas--and warned him that when the "one-eyed giant" showed up, he'd have to fight him to the death...
Well, that worked like a charm--except for the "to the death" part. Dutch showed up and choked the crap out me the at the end of the episode, and the Paper Wingers were still ready for some REPO! The "stage" is set for CATHY'S CURSE on Episode Four... let's hope that AMP actually manages to get this one on the air???
So am I. I'm off to the big "tech" rehearsal as "hell week" begins... and we open FOR REAL this coming Friday But before the show begins, I've got a big surprise for a very special Hopeful and her man... THEY know who I'm talking about...
A new friend, two encores and a long-anticipated debut for your pleasure and mine!!!
