Allo allo!
Well, today's my wife's "real" birthday... but she has to work, so our celebration took place yesterday. Had ourselves a fine Italian dinner and took in the remake of THE KARATE KID (which, as you've probably heard, has nothing to do with karate anymore!)--it's a tad overlong, but Jaden Smith and Jackie Chan really are that good, so the film actually succeeds as one of the better remakes around (at least, one of the better remakes of a film I was around for the first time)! All told, a very nice night.
Oh, and this weekend is ALSO the 50th wedding anniversary of my parents... again, the REAL one... but we're saving the celebration for Canada in July!
We'll get back to MANOR Memory Lane and the further adventures of the Paper Wing before too terribly long, but as always, I'd like to leave you with the latest sets from my friends...

But I'll tell you--it's a special pleasure to get to know someone BEFORE their first set goes up... I'm lucky to have made the acquaintance of the truly charming Vanile, and now I'm quite happy to introduce her debut set! Why not pay her a visit yourself?
