If you don't look out, you're really going to get to know me this month...
I alluded in numerous blogs past that the tail end of 2009 saw me reeling from the losses of a couple of close friends and inspirations in the world of movie horror and the journalism dedicated to that world... well, I've found a fine way to address this head-on. If all goes well, you'll see it this weekend in the MANOR timeslot as I break character, share some personal treasures, and cap it all off with a truly excellent movie, this time uncut and uninterrupted... but more on that just a bit later!
A while ago, I introduced you to a lovely and talented young lady known as macismycrack... and I also told you that she had a sister!
Well, now it's time for that very sister to make her debut--and guess who shot the set? Why, none other than "mac" herself! Say hello to BritRiot!
Hey--send them BOTH a lot of love--these sisters make a great team and are a delight to know!
I first knew Chika as a Hopeful, but she's crossed the threshold--she decided not to submit her latest shoot to MR, but she'd love you to see it anyway--and I agree with her!
And in breaking news? My good friend Praesepe was also a Hopeful when I first added her--and I was very happy to see her go Pink before my very eyes. She then went on to raise the bar with her subsequent sets, and I want you to understand that I'm not just saying that (I don't "just say" things in the first place--I mean them, and I think you know me that well by now) when I tell you that she and photographer alissabrunelli have combined to outdo anything seen in this young lady's portfolio to date. Prepare yourself for something truly... Sumptuous!
