We have an answer!!!!
For those of you still wondering just why we got thirty minutes of goats and ninety minutes of blackness instead of our regularly scheduled MANOR... we were victims of a mere typo.
Each AMP program is assigned a code number, and when the staff programmed the weekend's entertainment before leaving the office for the weekend, they entered one incorrect digit for our timeslot. So instead of our two-hour show, we got someone else's 30m show followed by 90m of absolutely nothing!
Still--it was an honest mistake, no harm, no foul, and BLACKENSTEIN will run this weekend--enjoy!
Now, on to mistakes WITH harm AND foul!
I loathe our bank. For the past FOURTEEN years, my wife has endorsed her paychecks for me to deposit. And this time... ONLY this time, they denied the check because we didn't both go inside with our IDs (we're in the middle of a transition, switching accounts, etc. as we recover from a series of disasters... fear not, WE'RE fine, don't get the wrong impression...).
So this happened over the weekend, and they called me Monday morning to inform me that we'd just been "lucky" for the past fourteen years. Oh, and that they were sticking us with literally hundreds of dollars worth of overdraft fees.
Well, I managed to rise up with sufficient fury to repair most (but not all) of this completely gratuitous damage, and I'll have to lose even more work time to show up at the bank in person tomorrow morning. All supposedly because I didn't remember some fine print from, let's see, seventeen YEARS ago?
Yeah, that's a friendly bank that cares about people.
Okay, enough of that.
Let's end on a happy note by wishing a super-happy birthday to the lovely Ellys!!!

I know they are just trying to help but their help was basically ignore the theme of your set altogether and I was too lazy to read what your set was about therefore having no idea what your set is actually about and what you were trying to convey!
