The moment is upon us...
Well, apparently tomorrow is the day that I finally get to take the "aptitude" test for that new work position (yep, the life-changer itself). So I guess I'll see where that goes, and we'll see where I go after that!
Meanwhile--it's my sister's birthday today--for her present, I sent her the first issue of a four-part ARCHIE miniseries... a typical teen romance saga, only rewritten and re-edited to turn it into an utterly perverted delight... this is a LONG-time family tradition. I also sent her Part Two, but that one SHE has to re-work. Then back to me for Part Three... see how it works?
The new issue of VIDEO WATCHDOG is about to hit the shelves... pick it up and you can check out my appreciations of BURST CITY, ELECTRIC DRAGON 80000V, JACK BROOKS: MONSTER SLAYER, THE MUMMY: TOMB OF THE DRAGON EMPEROR and DEATH RACE if you care to partake--and the rest of the issue is absolutely outstanding, I kid you not...
But speaking of ELECTRIC DRAGON and DEATH RACE, I couldn't help but notice just how much the aforementioned Japanese fantasy held sway over the just-released Jason Statham vehicle CRANK: HIGH VOLTAGE!
