Tonight's post is brought to you by the song "Anything for You", by Ludo.
So it's been a week now since my last posting, and since I was all so apologetic last time for missing one night, I feel like I should start off with a novella of apologies for missing so long. But alas, I do not feel like doing that, so I will just continue on with writing about my life.
Since last time you and I have spoken, you simply being the internet and all those who live there, many things have occurred. First, I got to see a lot more of my old friends at a wedding and, in the process, had a kick ass weekend. I have also flown back home to St. Louis for my last week of vacation and for some much needed R&R. Also, I have met and been friended by a couple more people on this site, which has been great. My last post was even commented, which means that some people, or maybe just one, are reading what I put out there. This resulted in a very cool and new feeling on my part. But, I digress.
Oh, before I forget, may I also say Happy New Year to all my Jewish brethren out in the world. Yes, happy 5771. I think that's the year anyways. Also, can I also comment that telling people that, not only do the Jewish people have their own new year, but it also operates on an entirely different yearly calendar, is quite humorous on occasion. Like today, when I told someone I used to work with that our current year was in the 5000s, she looked at me like I was in cult or something. Very amusing indeed. Though, to be fair, most religions are cult-ist in some form or another, but that is a rant for another day, a day when I have been drinking and fear not the wrath of organized religions everywhere.
ANYWAY, since the last time we spoke, I have thought more about what my friend said, about her calling me a "3", and what my friends, both out in the world and on this site, have had to say about this. So far, the responses have been pretty much headed in a one way direction of "Don't listen to her, she's being bitchy, you are totally at least a 4
" and so on. And what I eventually came to realize myself was, even if I am a 3 in her eyes, I'm alright in mine, and that's what matters the most at the end of the day. That is, so long as you aren't competing with someone on a dating website, because then it might matter what other people think too.
So now, let me end this post with a huge thank you to all my friends who were there for me this past week. You may not ever read this, but know that your efforts were not in vain, and I am truly thankful to you for those actions. You are the wind beneath my wings......or at the very least the yummy ramen in my belly. One of the two, but definitely awesome all the same.

P.S. - If anyone reading this has any tips on the proper protocol for friending people on this site without seeming like a complete mass of sketchiness, please be sure to pass along that information. Your donation will help ensure that there is one less creepster dude on the internet today. Thank you and Yoda bless.

Just remember that they are all people with feelings and treat them with respect. You can't lose!
