This week's blog homework is about "favorite places you've traveled"... I'm gonna put a twist on it.
I haven't traveled many places but I sure miss home. I'm from Colorado, Colorado Springs to be specific. I lived there for 25years and then moved to Houston when the economy got rough in CO and I was ready for a new job and my family is in Houston too so that helps. I can't say enough great things about CO Springs. It's definitely grown a lot but it still has a small town feel. I lived on the west side of town, right in the foot hills, minutes from hitting the trails for a jog with my dog or taking my mountain bike out. I miss seasons, the snow, the rain, the heat that never lasts too long or gets too strong. I hear "you can never go back home" but I sure as hell hope that isn't true.
So my favorite place to travel is to not travel at all :)
