Back from the UK! Thanks for everyone wishing me a happy birthday, I had an EXCELLENT day. I took all my friends out for makeovers and we had a nice dinner, it was really great. Then off to reunite with my hubby.
The visit felt too short, but such is life. The airline lost my luggage, so I had to go shopping - what a shame! - so, most of my first days were spent in Next. Then Vince and I took a train to York and spent a night with his friends. Then we went to Dartford and saw his brother and sister. Off to Wapping to see loads of friends and had a fantastic Chinese and too much wine. Hopped the Eurostar to Paris and spent 2 days there. Back to Eastbourne and Brighton. Back to Dartford for another family evening. Into London to have lunch with a friend and then I went home. Fleeting!
Anyway, I'm home and lonely again. However... three Brit things to pass on to the Canucks:
1. "Yeah I know" - Little Britian
2. "Bit'a dust? No? Bit'a dust?" - Little Britian
3. BOUNCEBACKABILITY - Soccer AM
