I was working @ Nathan Phillips Square (Toronto City Hall) for Thailand Day. We were selling groceries from Vieteinne Supermarket and I got to learn a lot about Thai cooking. So if anyone needs recipes... 
The worst thing about being a social worker is seeing clients outside of work. I saw two clients at the festival, which is pretty weird for me. I think mainly because I advise these people and talk to them about a lot of personal things, I don't really want them to know that I have a life outside of my workplace. I'm sure that they figure that I'm young and like to have fun... but it's hard to interact with these peole outside of a couselling session.
The other thing about this festival is that I kept on thinking that I was going to see my ex-girlfriend there. She was teaching in Taiwan and travelled to lots of places in Asia including Thailand. She likes to go to festivals and special events and despite my sour nature in terms of our situation, I would have loved to say hi... and
at her husband both knowing that I shagged his wife! *muahahahahahaha* *giggles*
