Went to and read at the 3300 Mission st open mike. I was pretty scared at first (never done it before 
) (he, he) but everyone was really cool and pretty much pushed me up to the mike.
People really liked it, but I'm not sure if they were just being nice or if they really dug what I had to say.
I'm glad I went. Trying to force myself to get out and get some culture on. It feels pretty good to be anonymous and free among groups of friends. I like the fact that I'm unknown, not invisible, just new.
I must practice patience.
