Last night, or rather, still today, seeing as how I'm still running on yesterday's sleep, made up for a good many nights of boring sleepiness.
I went to the openming of the Cowboys and Robots show at 111 Minna street. Good show, and the guy who does my tattoos was exhibiting, so I thought I'd go down to support him, (and show off as one of his mobile works of art)
Lotta scenesters, lotta psychobillys, lotta good art.
Highlights:
The band, the Pseudonauts or something. They're playing at the Red Devil lounge tonight, and I think I'm going to chech them out. They have this one guy who plays no instruments, sings like one line every four songs, and has no obviously discernable purpose, so I'm pretty intrigued.
One of the artists telling me that I could have his collage of firework wrappers for "$15,000 out the door".
Some tweaker setting one of the power strips on fire by spilling his beer into it.
Thats all...
P.S. Were there any other SG people there? It seemed like there would have been.

The band was The Phenomenauts.
I left around 10.
Sounds like it was really fun.
