for the ladies: so i did a little beauty experiment. i was stoned out of my mind, and there was a little handmirror faced up at me against the coffee table. i picked it up and stared back into my own eyes. they seemed more blue than green, which is unusual. the next couple of times i got stoned, i'd sit in front of the mirror and stare at my own eyes. i knew my imagination was sort of warping my view a little, but DAMN. they looked like someone else's. it was eerie.

by the time i'd sober up, my eyes would turn back to their weird greenerthanblue color. i finally figured it must've been the contrast of red against my irises. when you get stoned, your eyes get bloodshot. it had to be the red that was making them seem more blue.

so privy to my nature (aren't we all constantly changing ourselves?) i whored myself out to a red eyeliner pencil (sober) and BAM! not QUITE as creepy as it is when i'm stoned, but i'll be goddamned if my eyes didn't seem more blue than green.
