What with Pattern Recognition, Burnout, the ever-present Vice City, the new Chili Peppers album, and about a dozen other less significant media-related compulsions on my mind, I don't know how I can expect to get any sleep these days.
I just got a new CD of the current mix of my band's EP, as well... I can't *wait* for it to be done. It's a really, really awesome disc. So I've been listening to that a lot, too.
Gave my kitty a bath yesterday. He thought that pretty much sucked. Check out the last several photos on this page for the cutest, dampest cat you ever did see.
So my band is supposed to play this big party this weekend... Not exactly sure what's up with it - a friend of mine works for the Cubs and is having some big annual shindig. Estimated attendance about 150.
So we're supposed to show up at some point and just riff for an hour or so on instruments in the house. Should be crazy - haven't played a house party for years. Plus, it'll be nice to play to an unusual crowd, esp if there are a lot of minors around. I think the kids these days have better taste than their immediate predecessors - we might find some fans.
Has anyone else picked up the new OPM magazine? The demo CD has a playable version of Zone of the Enders 2!!! w00000t! It's so badass I want to cry.
Blah blah blah - how tedious this all must be for anyone to read... Isn't the internet wonderful? Alright, I guess I'll get back to my favorite activity these days: trying to get mikeHunt to have lunch with me. Wish me luck.
