The holidays are in full effect, yo. The good the bad and the ugly... I guess I've covered the bad, but things got ugly today when my car was broken into. The bastards tore apart the console of my car to get the MiniDisc deck out. The joke is on them - the radio has been the only thing that works on that thing for a year. Plus, in ravaging the glove compartment, they threw a $200 handheld GPS unit on the floor and left it there. Burn. I guess in the long run, the insurance money may just get me an operational deck, haha.
The GOOD NEWS (thank god there is some this time of year) is that my band's music has been chosen for an 11-track sampler of Chicago music to be given to 5,000 visitors of the not-yet-complete Hard Rock Hotel (that, as simple coincidence would have it, is being built on the other side of the wall that my desk is against at work). So that'll be some neat exposure. WXRT seems rather fond of our most depressing Christmas song ever. That's fun, too.
