Ack, another 14 hr day. Just got home. Boston was really sunny and warm but I missed most of it!

I've been thinking a lot lately about how sex and politics keep coming together. Eliot Spitzer. A politician. A really good one. Total alpha male. Of course he's a horny guy. Buys sex from an attractive gal. No violence, no coercion. She makes more in one visit than I make in 6 months after bills and taxes.

Apparently we're supposed to think that he a virgin and she's either some helpless victim or some slut. Not a gal who made a reasonable choice not to be poor. As if we think that guys don't buy sex every day or think about buying sex.

As if every Congressman and attorney in every state capital and Washington doesn't have some cute young thing working as a paralegal.

I think we're afraid of sex in this society.

We're a society full of jealous people who have put sex on a pedestal. We equate the ones you fuck with whom you care most about, and because of that, we're always trying to keep it for ourselves. God forbid we see sex as a physical sensation to be enjoyed with people we'd like to physically enjoy.

now, i don't agree that all us alpha dogs think about buying sex every day.

we think of having sex every minute.


but some of were raised with pride


and some of us were raised with sisters, moms and grandmas


i cannot even go to strip clubs, because of my tendency to see a woman as a person, rather than an object
