Well, Mom spent the night in my room while I slept on the couch. She's moving out to California to work at Yosemite Park for the summer. She'll only be gone for a few months, but it's the fact that she'll be all the way across the country and I won't see her. 
We had a fun time reminiscing about the past and drinking good scotch (The Balvenie) and Chai. I'm going to miss her so much. I hope that she comes back instead of staying out there. It will be cool to have her back in time for KIng Richard's Faire.
Which reminds me! I got accepted into the apprentice program for King Richard's Faire!
I don't know what I'm going to be as far as a character goes, but if the rumors are true, one of the actors that plays a pirate will be gone this year, which means I might be able to fill the spot.
In related news, I got the clothes that I ordered from Threads Of Time The problem is, the reversable vest has a gap about an inch and a half wide when I button it up. I plan on losing enough weight for it to fit, but just to be on the safe side, I'm sending it back to be widened. That way if my exercise schedule changes and I don't lose the weight and inches I'm supposed to, I will still have the outfit. Here's hoping to a dedicated exercise regiment. Now I just have to start eating right

I'm sorry I didn't answer your IM ... I wasn't at home. What is King Richard's Faire? Is that like a Renaissance Faire? I used to do the Faire years ago ... and I went to a small one while I was on vacation a few weeks ago. I didn't have to worry about buying a costume ... as a peasant whore, it was pretty easy to throw together just anything! However, I was verging on the middling class by all the favors I received from my noble admirers.
